Plot Summary (English):

In a quiet rural town in Maine, a young family struggles to reconnect after infidelity and the pressures of modern life. Donna Trenton, a graphic designer working remotely, and her husband Vic, an advertising executive, try to patch things up while raising their curious and sensitive son, Tad.

One summer morning, Donna takes their malfunctioning electric SUV to a remote auto repair shop owned by Joe Camber, a local mechanic. Unknown to Donna, Joe’s once-friendly St. Bernard, Cujo, has been bitten by a rabid bat days earlier. Now, the massive dog is slowly succumbing to the virus, turning from a gentle giant into a terrifying predator.
