Synopsis:
Finding Dory is the heartwarming and hilarious sequel to the beloved Finding Nemo (2003). Set one year after Nemo’s rescue, the story follows the forgetful yet lovable blue tang fish, Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres), as she suddenly remembers fragments of her childhood and sets out on a quest to find her long-lost parents.
Accompanied by her friends Marlin and Nemo, Dory journeys across the ocean to the Marine Life Institute in California. There, she meets a colorful new cast of characters, including Hank the grumpy octopus, Destiny the nearsighted whale shark, and Bailey the beluga with sonar issues.
As Dory struggles with her short-term memory loss, she learns that family is not just about being together, but about never giving up—even when you forget what you’re looking for. The film beautifully balances comedy, emotion, and adventure with Pixar’s signature heart.
