📖 Plot Summary

The story begins during the COVID-19 pandemic, right before Christmas. A man is scratched by a stray cat inside a shipping container. Infected with an unknown virus, he transforms into a zombie and drifts into Gangnam. Soon, a sudden outbreak erupts inside a high-rise office building.

Main characters:

  • Hyeon-seok (played by Ji Il-joo): A former taekwondo athlete now working at a struggling online streaming company.

  • Min-jeong (played by Park Ji-yeon): His brave coworker and love interest.

As zombies overrun the building, Hyeon-seok and Min-jeong fight their way through hordes of undead. Tension peaks when Hyeon-seok appears to be bitten—but the “bite” is revealed to have been blocked by dentures from one of the zombies. They escape to the rooftop, but the main infected pursuer reawakens behind them, leaving the ending on an ominous note.
