Reception

Critics gave Minotaur mixed reviews. The film was praised for its atmospheric sets, creative monster design, and Tony Todd’s charismatic performance, but it faced criticism for its uneven pacing and underdeveloped characters. Fans of creature features appreciated the unique take on the ancient myth, while others felt it strayed too far from the original legend.

Final Verdict

Minotaur (2006) is a niche fantasy-horror entry that stands out more for its visual design and early glimpse of Tom Hardy’s screen talent than for its storytelling. It’s a curious blend of ancient myth and low-budget monster movie charm.
