Plot & Storyline

This new chapter opens on a desolate desert highway where a group of travelers is forced off the road by what seems like a routine accident. But as the sun sets, it becomes clear that history is repeating itself: a ruthless sniper has chosen them as prey. Unlike the 2017 original, Downrange (2025) expands its scope — revealing that the sniper is not acting alone. A network of killers has turned forgotten highways into hunting grounds, creating a terrifying conspiracy.

Leading the cast is Sydney Sweeney, portraying a young paramedic who uses her training to fight for survival. She is joined by Jacob Elordi as a drifter with a mysterious past, and John Hawkes as a retired sheriff who may know more about the killings than he admits.
