“Every hero has a breaking point.”
Spider-Man 4: The Sinister Six is rumored to mark the next major chapter in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man journey, following the universe-altering events of No Way Home (2021). With Peter Parker now erased from everyone's memory and living a lonely life in New York, he’s forced to rebuild his identity — as both Peter and Spider-Man — without help from Stark tech, friends, or allies.
But just as he starts over, a new, dangerous threat rises.
Plot Overview:
Several of Spider-Man’s past foes begin resurfacing — not just from his own world, but possibly from alternate realities — brought together by a mysterious figure (possibly Norman Osborn or another multiversal manipulator) to form the long-feared Sinister Six.
This team of villains aims to destroy Spider-Man once and for all, but Peter, now more vulnerable than ever, must rely on his wit, resilience, and pure heart — not high-tech suits or Avengers backup — to survive.
Rumored Sinister Six Lineup:
-
Vulture (Adrian Toomes) – Michael Keaton
-
Scorpion (Mac Gargan) – Teased in Homecoming
-
Mysterio (Quentin Beck) – Jake Gyllenhaal (rumored return or legacy influence)
-
Kraven the Hunter – Possibly Aaron Taylor-Johnson (from Sony’s Kraven film)
-
Sandman – Possibly Thomas Haden Church or a new variant
-
Rhino / Shocker / Doc Ock / Electro – One of these may complete the six
Peter’s New Arc:
-
Back to basics: No more Stark tech, no more support system
-
Mature Spider-Man: A darker, lonelier tone as Peter evolves into the classic street-level hero
-
College era: Possibly starting university, encountering new allies like Gwen Stacy or Harry Osborn
What to Expect:
-
Intense hand-to-hand action
-
Multiverse threads continuing from No Way Home
-
Street-level stakes with emotional depth
-
Potential setup for future crossover with Daredevil, Venom, or Miles Morales
