Plot Overview
Set several years after the events of the first film, Zootopia 2 finds Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde now fully established as crime-fighting partners in the Zootopia Police Department. Judy is as brave and driven as ever, while Nick has matured into a surprisingly effective officer—though his wit and street smarts remain intact.
Their peaceful routine is shattered when a string of highly sophisticated cybercrimes begins targeting Zootopia’s power grid, financial system, and even government records. As prey and predator communities grow increasingly suspicious of one another again, the fragile balance of the city starts to collapse.
Clues lead Judy and Nick to a covert underground network led by a mysterious masked figure known only as The Architect, who seems to be manipulating both predator and prey with advanced artificial intelligence. As they investigate, Judy and Nick are drawn into a conspiracy that stretches beyond Zootopia’s borders—into new cities, environments, and ideologies that challenge everything they believe in.
