A New Age of Monsters

Following the events of the first film, George — the giant albino gorilla and former test subject — has been living in isolation under international surveillance. But peace is shattered when a powerful biotech syndicate called GENYSIS Corp., led by the enigmatic Dr. Andros Kreel (Javier Bardem), unleashes a new wave of hybrid monsters using recovered DNA from the original outbreak.

This time, the mutations are not accidents. They are weapons.

“This is not just a sequel. It's an evolution,” said director Brad Peyton, returning to helm the film. “We’re diving deeper into genetic warfare, environmental catastrophe, and the bond between man and beast.”

George vs. Vorgoth

The heart of the story remains the unique connection between Davis and George. But standing in their way is Vorgoth — a brutal new alpha predator bred using corrupted gorilla DNA. With new monsters emerging across the globe, including a sea-dwelling Leviaclaw and the deadly airborne Skyrend, the world faces an extinction-level crisis.

“There’s more emotion this time around,” Johnson teased during a Comic-Con appearance. “George is older, wiser — and more dangerous when threatened.”

A Cast of Powerhouses

The film sees the return of Naomie Harris as Dr. Kate Caldwell, who now works with the United Nations’ Threat Neutralization Division. Viola Davis joins the cast as UN Director Evelyn Ross, heading global emergency efforts to control the outbreaks.Bigger, Bolder, Global

From Tokyo and São Paulo to a volcanic showdown in Iceland, Rampage 2 expands its scope with globe-trotting destruction and cutting-edge visual effects. The trailer teases epic battles, military mobilizations, collapsing skyscrapers, and George leaping from building to building in a desperate fight for survival.
