📖 Plot Summary
Thunderbolts brings together a group of misfit anti-heroes and reformed villains under the manipulation of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Initially coerced into working together, the group finds themselves caught in a web of betrayal when it’s revealed that Valentina’s true plan involves unleashing a destructive force that could devastate the world.
The core mission centers around an unstable weapon: Bob Reynolds, also known as Sentry, who harbors an uncontrollable alter ego—the Void. As tensions rise within the team and dark secrets surface, the Thunderbolts must choose between personal redemption and survival.
Throughout the film, the group battles internal conflict, clashes with government forces, and ultimately storms a facility to stop Sentry’s transformation. In the climax, Bucky takes a leadership role, and Yelena steps into the moral heart of the team.
The ending sets up their transition from being disposable pawns to becoming a legitimate heroic team. A post-credit scene hints at the formation of the New Avengers, setting the stage for future MCU crossovers.
